A bold fusion of experimental DIY aesthetics and sleek modern typography, crafting a dynamic branding system for Ensemble Arts in Philadelphia.
Lettering was created with a custom typeface and physical airbrushing, as well as graphics which were then vectorized for use.
This type system is all about balance and movement. It mixes clean, solid structure with loose, handmade touches—just like Philly’s ensemble arts scene, where planning and improvisation go hand in hand.
It’s built to echo the range of genres Ensemble Arts represents—music, dance, theater, visual art, and everything in between. The system, using a variable grid, flexes across styles. It works in print and online, feeling both hands-on and digital, ready for posters, screens, and whatever else needs to make an impact.
